Hi,
I was reading about changing punbb to phpbb forum code and I was wondering if you have links or resources that I can read some information on changing a PHPBB 2 forum into a different type forum.

Say I wanted to switch phpbb 2 over to:
mybb
vBulletin
SM simple machines
Is that possible?

What are all the options of switching forum codes once you've already built your userbase?

I guess this is why it is important to make the right decision before you build your board. But, sometimes codes are released after you've done your work! Nothing wrong with change Smiley

Great question!  I'd be interested in knowing what migration options there are too.  Perhaps we could put together a matrix of all the possible options?  I seem to recall that you can go from phpBB to most of them.
