I see that Forums specialize in Impressions and so I think that best for forums is Ads by CPM basis or banner ads sold according to CPM basis. The forums receive tons of impressions as the members are constantly browsing and posting. My friend has a forum and receives 1k unique whereas 10k impressions daily. So he is trying for CPM basis ads. Adsense is giving him very less return Sad

I don't think I quite understand what you are getting at here.  Are you asking/stating that CPM is more profitable on forums than CPC?  In a lot of cases, it is.  I only have one forum right now that I have CPC ads on.

I agree with the second post. It is not secret that CPM is more profitable than CPC for a forum. But if Adsense won't give you good CPM ads, I'm sure there are other ad types you could go to.

I am still confused with the post because we use ads to earn money but I am guessing from this post that someone has been using it for traffic. This is something totally confused for me.
