hello forum members

my name is Juergen von der Heide, i live in Germany and i am 50 years old.
I hope my username does not violate the rules ?

i just have started a new forum and i am willing to learn, to help others to
get members and posts into their forum ( if interested ) and i hope to get
some members and posts, smile...

i have read the very interesting posts in this forum before i joined and i
hope it will be very use- and helpful for me and perhaps for already
existing forum members.

first problem i got with my forum: spammers mean to be invited to post
their lousy sexsites.

best regards from germany
Juergen von der Heide

PS: i always write without capitals,  Smiley

Greetings and welcome Juergen.  We hope you find the useful and exchange of ideas and information here useful.

Are the lousy porn spammers circumventing your current anti-spam protection?  Or do you not have any protection in place yet?

The Anti-spam ACP seems to be the best general measure to take, also phpBB v3 is not too far off and it has several inherent spam fighting tools that vs lacked. Smiley
