I am not looking to promote anything. I'm just asking if there are any good forums that you know of that are a good place for intellectuals (like myself  Wink ) to hang around. It doesn't matter whether it is your forum or just a forum that you know. Please, tell me about forums that are especially good for smart people.

depends on your definition of "intellectuals".  online, anyone who can compose a line and a half of poorly weighted iambic pentameter or a multi-clause sentence suddenly becomes an intellectual Cheesy

i used to visit an Oxford University debating board that seemed fun and it looked like it attracted what might be considered intellectuals.  i'll see whether I can find the url.

What type topics are you wishing to discuss?  I know many smart people in political, web master forums and so forth.

I think forums can do nothing alone and these are people who make some forum very special. I think a good forum almost has everything in it and a group of intellectual people can make it an intellectual forum as well.

I am afraid that majority of intellectual people don't like to browse forums. They like to join other communities which are more sophisticated and rich in such resources.
