i started it by myself,and in hind site,i think it would have had a better start if a few friends had helped me

I have several forums all of which I started alone.  It is hard work and can take anywhere from 6-12 months to finally get them off the ground with regular posting members.

I have started forums by myself and some with 1 or 2 other people. It is always easier to do it with someone else in my opinion, as long as you ultimately keep control in case there is a falling out.
