I know many forum owners that state in their rules that good grammer must be used. I feel this is acceptable. I think correcting pooly written posts improves the quality of your forum.

I will correct it if it is in the title of their post. Otherwise, I leave it alone.

I will correct the title also.
However, as more members come, I get stricter on what is acceptable. I will ban people who routinely make poorly written posts with lots of spelling and grammatical mistakes.

It is tough job but probably we shall have to do so. It also depends on niche of the forum. If you have planned your forum for some specific community then probably you would have less poor posts but if it is a general forum then you will have to do a lot of hard work.

I agree with WQPC too. If it is in the title of the post then it should be corrected as soon as possible since usually the post title is what forms a link anchor. And you want your link anchors to match potential search phrases if possible.

What it means? What I have assumed is, posts titles help and contribute in content related issues and description don't. Is it so ?

Hi qaswer,
I am not quite sure I understand your question but let me clarify my remark a little. Usually, the title of the post is i) part of an HTML heading tag (eg, <h1>, <h2> etc.) and, ii) a link to another area on your forum. Therefore, they are afforded a little extra importance in terms of SEO contribution. This is why it is highly desirable, even imperative, to ensure your post titles are well written and relevant. As you say, they also contribute to the overall content of the page.

Thanks for the information. I was also lack of this info and wanted to know the importance on titles and body of posts. A few days ago, I have a member on my forum with very weak English, he did 20 posts but all of those are just gibberish. What should I do know?
